Current Job Opportunities:

The City of Electric City is seeking a 32-hours per week employee to join their Public Works Team.  General responsibilities will include: water irrigation of public spaces, maintaining city owned trees, weed control, the ability to operate heavy equipment including tractors and backhoes, meter reading, sewer jetting, street repair, concrete work, and vehicle maintenance.  To perform the job successfully, an individual should be able to manage difficult or emotional customer situations, respond to requests for service and assistance, meet appointment and meeting commitments, and be able to focus on solving conflict and maintain confidentiality.
